Epinastine is a second-generation antihistamine used to treat allergic conjunctivitis. It works by selectively blocking the H1 histamine receptor, which is responsible for many of the symptoms of allergic reactions. Epinastine is available as an ophthalmic solution and is typically administered twice daily.
