Brand: Ogen, Ortho-Est
Ogen, also known by its generic name estropipate, is a synthetic estrogen used for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in menopausal women. It belongs to the class of steroid hormones and primarily acts by mimicking the effects of endogenous estrogen, helping alleviate symptoms associated with estrogen deficiency such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and bone loss. It is often prescribed to manage moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause and to prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
For the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause and for the prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
