Brand: Zemuron, Esmeron, Rocuronio Bromuro
Rocuronium bromide is a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent used as an adjunct to general anesthesia to facilitate tracheal intubation and provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It is a member of the aminosteroid class of neuromuscular blockers and acts competitively at the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular junction.
For facilitating tracheal intubation and providing skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation.
Rocuronium bromide may cause anaphylaxis and anaphylactoid reactions. Facilities must be immediately available for treating such reactions.
