Brand: Teslac
Testolactone is an antineoplastic agent, specifically a steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It works by inhibiting the enzyme aromatase, which is responsible for converting androgens into estrogens. This action reduces estrogen levels in the body, which can be beneficial in treating certain hormone-sensitive cancers, particularly breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Testolactone is also sometimes used to treat gynecomastia (enlarged breasts in men) and precocious puberty in girls.
